– Flat Rate shipping offer does not apply to case purchases or to orders receiving volume discounts.
Our chocolate products are packaged with care to ensure your satisfaction. We tightly seal our confections to keep them fresh and protected. If the temperature is 70° or above, we will notify you via e-mail of the need to upgrade to warm weather packaging and Next Day Air Shipping. We will hold your shipment until we receive your confirmation acceptance of the additional cost of Next Day Air Shipping. If you choose a different shipping method against our recommendation, we will not be responsible if the chocolates arrive melted and will not offer a refund.
We ship year-round throughout the United States exclusively with UPS. For international shipments please contact us and we will do our best to ship to your desired destination. UPS can not ship to P.O. boxes, APO or FPO locations, so please provide us with a street address for your package destination.
ALL CHOCOLATE SHIPMENTS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY. WE WILL NOT GUARANTEE OR REFUND ANY DAMAGED PACKAGES THAT DO NOT HAVE A SIGNATURE OR WERE DELAYED IN DELIVERY DUE TO THE RECIPIENT NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR THE FIRST DELIVERY ATTEMPT.
Chocolate Inspirations offers the following shipping options through UPS: Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd day Air, 2nd Day Air AM, Next Day Air Saver, Next Day Air, and Next Day Air Early AM. Our shipping rates are based upon the total package weight and the destination of the package. We ship Monday-Thursday, with the exception of holidays. You can select your desired arrival date and we will make every attempt to have your package arrive on time. Please see the liability section for more information.
Once your package has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail notification including your package tracking number. You may click on the provided link, or enter your tracking number at UPS.com to check the delivery status of your package.
INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES
When an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, there will be a $20.00change of address processing fee, the cost to reship the item, plus any additional UPS charges incurred. Once the package is returned to us, Chocolate Inspirations will resend the package to the new address. To resend the package we must have the Recipient’s name, Company name (if applicable), Street #, Street name (please include N,S,E,orW), the Suite/Apt/Floor #, City, State, and Zip Code.
Once your package has been picked up by UPS, Chocolate Inspirations is no longer responsible for any damages caused by UPS delivery or any delays due to weather, or carrier malfunctions.
Chocolate Inspirations is not liable for any misdirected and/or delayed packages if an incorrect or incomplete address was provided at the time of the order.
Chocolate Inspirations is not liable for any damages or non-delivery of packages if the intended recipient is not available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.
During warm weather months (April – September) if any other shipping option other than Next Day Air is chosen, we will notify you via e-mail of a need to upgrade to Next Day Air Shipping. We will hold your shipment until we receive your confirmation of acceptance of the additional fees for overnight shipping. If you choose a different shipping method against our recommendation, we will not be responsible if the chocolates arrive melted and will not offer a refund.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Every item is carefully inspected before leaving Chocolate Inspirations.Due to health regulations, we are not allowed to accept any chocolate merchandise where original packaging in not fully intact. In the event of a return, please contact Chocolate Inspirations at (630) 894-0898, for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and shipping instructions.
By returning said merchandise, I acknowledge that Chocolate Inspirations, Inc., reserves the right to charge a twenty (20) percent restocking fee and that I am liable for the cost of shipping in both directions. Chocolate Inspirations, Inc., reserves the right to refuse credit for any chocolate product that is returned in a condition where it is not suitable for resale. All returns must be in their original package, unused and uneaten. This does not apply to custom orders including, corporate logos, wedding favors, or chocolate boxes. Refunds for damage during shipping must be claimed through UPS. Please retain original carton in order to make your claim with UPS.
All of our products are made to order. Cancellations or decreases in quantities require notification prior to production. We require 3 weeks notification for any custom orders including, custom logos, wedding favors, and chocolate boxes. We require 2 weeks notification for all boxed candy orders.
Notification of cancellations or decreases in quantity once the order is in production will be subject to a loss of deposit and a minimum 10% cancellation charge.
CUSTOM ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Custom Orders: Each custom product is designed and manufactured specifically for you and is custom made to meet your specifications. It is not suitable for resale in the ordinary course of business.
- A minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production begins on all custom orders for both new and existing customers.
- The remaining balance (including tax, shipping & delivery) is due upon the receipt of the ordered merchandise.
- All cancellations and/or changes must be confirmed in writing. Work started or completed prior to cancellation and/or change will incur a 20% charge and will be billed at prevailing rates.
- Customer is responsible for confirmation of logos, specifications, and quantities.
- Custom made products cannot be returned.

Payment: Chocolate Inspirations accepts payment in the form of check and credit card including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Cancellations: All cancellations and/or changes must be confirmed in writing. Work started or completed prior to cancellation and/or change will incur a 20% charge and will be billed at prevailing rates.
Shipping and Handling: Shipping and handling charges may be invoiced through Chocolate Inspirations or your company may use their own UPS or Federal Express accounts in order to ship at your negotiated shipping rates.
Unless otherwise stated, Chocolate Inspirations requires payment in full at the time the order is placed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Please call regarding additional payment options. We will not be responsible for a delay in shipment if your credit card is not approved.

Chocolate Inspirations will keep you informed. When you provide us with your e-mail address we will e-mail you confirmation of your order and shipping information. We will contact you through e-mail regarding any questions we may have concerning your order. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an e-mail with your tracking number.
Your e-mail address will automatically enroll you in our Chocolate Buddy Club. You will receive our monthly e-mail newsletters with special promotions, discounts, and exclusive offers. We do not disclose, trade, or sell email addresses under any circumstance.
Our chocolate confections are processed on equipment that manufacture products that contain tree nuts, milk, peanuts, and soy ingredients.
